Confirmed himself back in good heart during the spring, showing no ill effects of his unseat over C&D in April when second at Uttoxeter (20f) the following month. Won after a break previously and his yard have made an excellent start to the campaign. Shortlisted.
Useful in bumpers and quickly reached a similar level over hurdles, winning C&D Grade 2 just under 2 years ago. However, absent since being pulled up on chase debut here (20f) 12 months ago and the market may prove a useful guide returned to hurdles now.
Successful on 3 of his half-a-dozen starts as a novice last season and signed that campaign off with a good sixth in a valuable handicap here (2m) in April. Never figured on reappearance in Silver Trophy at Chepstow 4 weeks ago but that ought to have blown the cobwebs away.
Placed in some good maiden/novice events and made most of good opportunity at Exeter (16.7f) in April. Returned with a good third in Grade 2 Persian War at Chepstow last month and he's one to consider now switched to handicaps.
Capitalised on the ease in grade when scoring at Huntingdon (20.6f) in March but rather typically made mistakes and was below form when eleventh of 15 in handicap hurdle at Cheltenham (20.2f) a month later. Returns with yard going nicely however, if he can keep the errors at bay.
Bumper winner. Bright start over hurdles last season, completing simple task in a Wincanton maiden (15.2f) in March. Signed off with a solid second of 9 on handicap debut at Ayr (20.5f) in April and he commands respect for his top yard after 6 months off.
A fairly useful 2m winner (course winner) but ended last season with a below-par display and disconcerting he again finished well held last of 9 in handicap hurdle at Aintree (20f) 2 weeks ago. Needs to leave that well behind.
Ex-French performer who was steadily progressive last season, best effort yet when second of in juvenile hurdle at Angers (16.9f) in March. Goes handicapping for new yard with a good record with new recruits and he's worthy of note, particularly if strong in the betting.
Fair form when landing small-field juvenile hurdles at Huntingdon/Newbury around the turn of the year. Hasn't matched that form on 2 of his 3 starts since, latterly on return from 6 months off when seventh of 11 in handicap hurdle at Chepstow (2m) 29 days ago. Back up in trip.

Forecasts
Act Of Authority (16/5), Don't Tell Su (7/2), Vincenzo (4/1), Through The Ages (11/2), Samuel Spade (17/2), Monviel (12/1), Arqoob (14/1), Henri The Second (16/1), Falco Des Pins (28/1)
Claims can be made for several here and it may pay to take a chance on Venetia Williams' FALCO DES PINS. A low-mileage 4-y-o, he signed off his time in France with a good second at Angers in the spring and he appeals as the type to make his mark now handicapping/up in trip before the benefit of market clues. Vincenzo, Monviel and Don't Tell Su all command respect also.
