Left debut form well behind when landing a Fakenham bumper with something to spare in November 2023. Not in quite the same form at Warwick 2 months later and sent off favourite on hurdles debut at Plumpton, he shaped as though in need of the run. Capable of better.
€26,000 3-y-o, £25,000 4-y-o. Second foal, dam fair but temperamental 2m chase winner. Placed on last of 3 starts in Irish points (Apr 27).
Triple winner on the AW this year and fit from the Flat but has pulled up both previous hurdles outings.
Clovis Du Berlais gelding. Dam, ran once on Flat, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser who became unreliable (stayed 25f) Problema Tic. Too inexperienced to show much in a Worcester bumper this summer.
Gaps between all 3 bumper starts, showing minor promise. Hurdles debut at a realistic level.
Point recruit who opened his account in bumpers at Kempton and acquitted himself well in defeat in that sphere later in the campaign. Stuck to his task nicely when runner-up on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter and slight step up in trip can only aid his cause.
Order of St George gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to high-class hurdler/chaser (stayed 25f) Yorkhill. Lot to like on paper but showed precious little in a bumper during the spring.
Useful on Flat (stays 1¾m), won maiden in 2023 prior to finding group company too much final 2 starts for Aidan O'Brien. Well held on hurdles debut and regressive on the level for this yard but cannot be dismissed out of hand at this level. Cheekpieces on.
Half-brother to bumper winner Montenay and showed a lot more than on debut when third in that sphere here in January. Off since but isn't one to take lightly on hurdles bow.
Off mark in points at sixth attempt in May but shaped with no promise both outings under Rules.
Bred to need time and distance and shaped in kind in a bumper/brace of novice hurdles.
Runner-up sole start in Points and made a winning start under Rules when taking 6-runner course bumper (13.7f, heavy) in March. Held back slightly by inexperience when second on last month's hurdles debut and he's sure to step up on that.
Disappointing on the level in 2024 but showed something to work on when fifth of 8 in novice hurdle over C&D last month. In nothing like the same form at Fakenham and cheekpieces now on.
No impact in bumper/novice hurdles last season.

Forecasts
Laurens Bay (1/1), Electric Mason (13/8), Ami Bondhu (15/2), Grenadier Jed (14/1), Desert Halo (22/1), Gooloogong (25/1), Confinentic (28/1), Tarbaan (66/1), Capstan (66/1), Klic Boum (125/1), Falstaff (150/1), Atlantic Power (200/1), Killard Point (200/1), Don't Cheddar Tear (300/1)
Bumper-winners ELECTRIC MASON and Laurens Bay showed enough on their respective debut in this sphere to think they will be winning races sooner rather than later, with marginal preference for the Chris Gordon inmate. Ami Bondhu is also open to progress so needs considering.
