Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Cameron Johnstone-Baker⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 114| C

10/1

Scored over fences at Fontwell this time last year but failed to complete on next 3 starts. Stopped the slide to some extent when sixth in Exeter handicap hurdle (18.5f) latest but others more convincing.

Form: 54PP-P5

Jocata¹⁶¹

Near best form when second of 6 in minor event chase at Nantes (21.4f, soft, 19/10) in May. Since joined Nicky Henderson and warrants plenty of respect on yard debut.

Form: 3P05-42

Thank You Ma'am^p1²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-10| J: Miss Olive Nicholls⁽³⁾| T: G Nicholls| OR: 113

15/2

Made the frame on several occasions last term and posted good second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Wincanton (21.4f, good, 12/1) on return 21 days ago. Cheekpieces now added for first time and not taken lightly.

Form: 2220P-2

Parikarma^p⁵⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Miss Imogen Mathias⁽⁵⁾| T: J L Flint| OR: 107

33/1

Lost her way for Gary Moore after a claiming win in January but revived at the first time of asking for this yard when landing a Newton Abbot handicap (16.8f) in June. This looks tougher but she will be fit from a spell on the Flat.

Form: 71645-1

School Days Over^p²⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Mr Harry O'Dwyer⁽⁷⁾| T: F O'Brien| OR: 106| D

Disappointed in Chepstow handicap chase latest but had proved consistent in handicap hurdles previously and remains feaibly treated.

Form: P3333P

Shinji^h¹¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Freddie Keighley⁽⁷⁾| T: M Keighley| OR: 105| BF

9/1

Off the mark at Southwell (15.8f) in June and backed that up with good second at Newton Abbot a fortnight later. Wasn't in same form when last seen at Worcester in June, however, and tries longer trip now. Hood back on.

Form: 6R6-127

Back on the up when landing a 15-runner event at Newton Abbot (18.5f) in August and, while he didn't back it up at the same course since, he's still worthy of respect.

Forecasts

Of Course You Can (11/8), School Days Over (13/2), Thank You Ma'am (15/2), Melton Mossy (8/1), Shinji (9/1), Hardy Fella (10/1), Jocata (11/1), Midnightreflection (14/1), Parikarma (33/1), Bahtiyar (66/1)

OF COURSE YOU CAN has been raised 10 lb for last month's C&D success but she won in emphatic fashion and may be able to follow up. Thank You Ma'am and Jocata rate the principal dangers.
