Five-time chase winner but he hasn't shown a great deal of spark since returning from a lengthy absence a year ago. However, he is at least entitled to come on for his comeback fifth at Hexham last month.
Winless following 20 attempts over hurdles but has already won 3 times in this sphere, the latest at Hexham in May. Decent efforts in defeat since and has a good record fresh. Player.
Unreliable sort who offered little after 6 months off when eleventh on Flat at Pontefract in June and struggled again back chasing following month. Won off this mark here last season but bit to prove on balance.
Still to register a victory and merely underlined inconsistency at Cartmel last time. Makes chase debut. Has bled.
Mixed record over hurdles since making debut in June but improved straightaway sent chasing when second at Hereford 3 weeks ago. Subsequently sold from Tom Ellis £6,000 and headgear now fitted for the first time.
Hinted at a revival when fourth of 12 in a Doncaster handicap in December but followed that with 3 heavy defeats. Shaped as if needing run here last month but remains with something to prove.
Dual winner here last term, including on return, and acquitted himself well when second last 2 starts. Set for another big run on comeback.
Yet to get his head in front and has offered little in 3 starts for present yard. Makes chase debut.
Dual hurdles winner in 2022. Missed whole of 2023 and has yet to match his previous best this year, including in 3 starts over fences. Mark continues to slide at least.
Unreliable individual. C&D winner. Scored at Catterick in February and decent second at Market Rasen after. Well held next 2 starts and merely closed up late having been tailed off much of the way when fourth at Market Rasen.
Unreliable type but showed he retains some ability after 14 months off when third at Hexham in June. Built on that 3 months later when third here (26f) 6 weeks ago. Entitled to come on again but drop back in trip may not be ideal at this stage of his career.

Forecasts
Bebside Banter (10/3), Into The Sunset (9/2), The Paddy Pie (6/1), Agilulf (13/2), Valence D'Aumont (15/2), Zuckerberg (15/2), Selectivelistening (12/1), Dr Shirocco (14/1), Muroor (16/1), Onenightintown (33/1), Ask Bob (40/1)
BEBSIDE BANTER did well over fences last season, winning twice here, including on return, so another big run looks on the cards. Dr Shirocco was in good form over the summer and can go well fresh, so is next best ahead of Selectivelistening, who made a positive start to his chase career at Hereford.
- Bebside Banter10/3
- Dr Shirocco14/1
