C&D winner who got back on scoreboard when taking Fontwell handicap chase (19.5f) last month. Not at same level there latest, though, and looks on a stiff mark back over hurdles here.

Fair performer on Flat who matched his best form over timber when close second of 11 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter in May. Not disgraced next time and arrives fit from the Flat.

Third in an Aintree bumper in May 2022 but hurdling efforts have been uninspiring in the main (tailed off at Fontwell 11 days ago). Needs the first-time cheekpieces to have a positive effect.

Winning hurdler/chaser in Ireland for Gavin Cromwell. Left previous form for present connections behind when readily accounting for 10 rivals in first-time cheekpieces (retained here) at Perth in September but failed to back it up at Carlisle 17 days ago.

Hasn't shown any spark in a handful of appearances for present yard and has plenty to prove.

Looked one to follow in opening his account in thoroughly dominant fashion in 13-runner handicap at Uttoxeter (19.9f, good to soft) in June and simply bumped into a highly progressive rival at Southwell 11 days ago. Can get back to winning ways.

Landed a gamble at Ludlow (21.2f) in May but yet to really build on that. Has been given a break and there's still a feeling that he has a bigger effort in him.

First run since leaving Helen Nelmes when very good second of 18 in handicap hurdle at Exeter last month but looked laboured at Stratford 3 days ago, struggling a long way out. Blinkers go back on.

Little in the way of solid form so far but could, theoretically, up his game switched to handicaps after 6 months off with a hood refitted.

Still low mileage and left previous efforts behind when landing a C&D handicap last month. May not have reached his limit and deserves respect.

Runner-up on last of 4 starts in Irish points but yet to offer any promise under Rules. Cheekpieces are tried for the first time.
