Winning pointer but pulled up in 2 maiden hurdles, looking far from straightforward.
Well held in a brace of maiden hurdles. Needs this run for a handicap mark.
Promise when third on both starts last winter, latterly when third in a useful novice at Ascot (19f, good to soft). Fell at the first in the Persian War here on return. Sets the standard.
Took a step forward when third of 7 in a C&D maiden in February. Ran badly switched to a handicap at Exeter the following month, however.
Bred to stay well and shaped accordingly when third of 8 in a bumper at Exeter (16.7f, good) on NH debut, not knocked about. Off 6 months. Makes hurdle bow.
Expensive purchase after finishing second in a point and made no mistake first time under Rules, recording a facile success at Exeter in December. Well held in Champion Bumper at Cheltenham 3 months on but still appeals as the type to do well as a novice hurdler.
From the family of fairly useful hurdlers Lisheen Prince (2½m winner) and Jumping Susie (stayed 23f). Made frame both starts in Irish points and possibly needed the run when eighth of 13 on recent hurdling debut at Uttoxeter (15.8f). Up in trip.
£25,000 3-y-o, Soldier of Fortune gelding. Showed a bit when twelfth of 20 in Goffs UK Spring Sales Bumper at Newbury on debut and should have a future over hurdles.
Down the field in a trio of bumpers so easily passed over.
Just modest form at best in a trio of bumpers and needs a big step forward now sent hurdling.
Showed a bit from a less-than-ideal position when fourth of 9 in a Southwell bumper on debut in June but was held back by her jumping when well held at Stratford on recent hurdling bow.
Runner-up on the last of 3 outings in points and showed a bit on Rules debut at Kelso earlier in the month but is probably one for a bit further down the line.
Little form on Flat and finished tailed off on last week's Ludlow hurdling bow. Up in trip.

Juventus De Brion (1/1), Quebecois (13/8), Maximum Effort (17/2), Murphy's Milan (9/1), Outer Banks (25/1), Tom Taggle (40/1), Lyle View (66/1), Hot Goddess (100/1), Catch Catchfire (100/1), Captains Road (125/1), Ironed Out (200/1), Diamond Dusty (200/1), Scarlet (200/1), Banny Hill Lass (250/1)
QUEBECOIS was possibly amiss when weakening quickly in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham when last seen and remains a good prospect for jumping judged on his impressive debut success at Exeter. He's narrowly preferred to Juventus de Brion, who has already shown fairly useful form over hurdles and is sure to be opening his account before long.
