Made it 3 wins from as many starts at Huntingdon (25f, good) 16 days ago, proving better than ever from a mark 7 lb higher than when landing the same race in 2023. Yard in fine form and can make the smooth transition to fences provided his jumping holds up (has been clumsy).

Dual bumper winner who came good at the fifth time of asking over hurdles when getting the better of El Granjero (won both starts since) in a Hereford maiden in March. Improved further when doubling his tally at Kempton (21f) back in May and there's every chance he will be an even better chaser.

Showed improved form to get off the mark under Rules reverted to patient tactics in 7-runner handicap hurdle at Chepstow (19.4f, soft) back in March. Won sole start in points so that augurs well for his prospects over the larger obstacles. Stable form a slight worry, however.

Verdict

INOUI MACHIN doubled his tally over hurdles tackling his longest trip to date at Kempton back in May and with the prospect of him being an even better chaser, Neil Mulholland's 6-y-o is fancied to make the perfect start over fences at the expense of Ballintubber Boy, who made it 3 wins from as many starts at Huntingdon recently and now heads over the larger obstacles. Madaket can fill out third spot.
