Mighty Trotter Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race) (Div 2)

Left debut form well behind when landing a Fakenham bumper with something to spare in November. Not in quite the same form at Warwick 2 months later but he's one to consider on hurdles debut.

Fairly useful bumper winner in Ireland who hasn't been seen for 2 years but still strikes as an interesting hurdling debutant having changed stables. The market should be informative fitted with a hood for the first time.

€185,000 son of Kapgarde who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut in a Sandown bumper a year ago. Too keen to last out back there 11 weeks on but he's had a breathing op and is sure to be well prepared for this hurdles bow fitted with a hood.

Brother to useful hurdler Teqany (winner around 2m) and fairly useful hurdler Castel Gandolfo (winner around 2m). Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1½m), well below form in handicap last time. Sold from Archie Watson 21,000 gns in May.

€13,000 3-y-o, Ocovango gelding. Brother to fair hurdler The Niffler. Dam maiden pointer. Failed to complete in a couple of points but made a winning debut at Roscommon in June for S.Curling. Changed hands for £10,000 a month later.

Some fair efforts on the Flat when in the care of Roger Varian. Failed to fire in 3 starts on the level for this yard but made a sound start to hurdles career when fourth at Fontwell 17 days ago.

Limited appeal on pedigree and little promise in bumpers 11 months apart.
