Fairly useful hurdler/chaser who ran no sort of race in handicap chase at Warwick (20f) when last seen 12 months ago. First run for yard after leaving Dan Skelton and worth a precautionary check in the betting contesting his first handicap over hurdles given he's won fresh before.
Bumper winner for Fergal O'Brien who got off the mark over hurdles in likeable fashion at Hereford in January. Showed improved form when third on handicap debut at Kelso (22.7f) on final outing and likely to give another good account if fully tuned up on this return to action.
Veteran who ran much better than on return when sixth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (23f, good) 30 days ago. Potentially well treated if she can build on that further.
Likeable type who confirmed previous promise when merely pushed out to win 6-runner handicap chase at Haydock (25.6f, soft) in March. Probably should have followed up at Perth on final outing and interesting now returning to hurdling after a break (won this race on return last season).
Struck up a good relationship with William Maggs last winter, completing a Newcastle hat-trick and placed at Wetherby and Haydock after. Found the test inadequate when down the field at Kelso on final outing.
Hurdles/chase winner who ran again ran well on stable debut when second of 8 in handicap chase at Newbury (22.4f) in March. However, held back by his attitude when well held at Southwell last time and now returns to the smaller obstacles after a break.
Justified support when winning 9-runner novice hurdle at Stratford (18.7f) on debut in June, edging ahead close home in a sprint finish. Faced no easy task against 2 other winners at Perth on first outing since leaving David Killahena & Graeme McPherson and could have more to offer now upped to 3m.
Showed ability in a trio of bumpers last season and confirmed hurdling debut promise when off the mark in 10-runner maiden at Perth (20.2f) in April. Remains open to improvement, particularly now upped further in trip on handicap debut.
Winning chaser in France who made a successful stable debut over hurdles in 2022/23. Has been disappointing since, however. Upped significantly in trip. Has had a breathing op.
Lightly-raced 6-y-o who landed a Chepstow novice for Sam Thomas back in March 2023. Posted just about his best effort for this yard when fourth of 11 at Worcester (23f, good) in August and left the impression the run didn't get to the bottom of him at Warwick last time. Remains of interest.
Fairly useful chaser who scored at Southwell in June and good placed efforts next 3 of 4 starts. Fell at Kelso on most recent outing and now reverts to hurdling for the first time since May 2022.

A competitive finale and it could be worth taking a chance on TZARMIX, who left the impression the run didn't get to the bottom of him at Warwick last time and now has the assistance of Jonjo O'Neill. Fox's Fancy is an interesting handicap debutante with the further step up in trip bound to suit, while last year's winner Duke of Deception and Billy Boi Blue are others to note.
