Consistent sort who opened her account after a frustrating run of placed efforts in 13-runner handicap at Leicester (20.5f, heavy) in January. Ought to come on for recent Fontwell reappearance spin but she looks vulnerable for win purposes all the same.
Built on reappearance effort when a good second of 13 at Uttoxeter in June, before going one better in decisive fashion in a 21.8f Fontwell handicap last month. Subsequently chased home an improver at Worcester and while more will be needed now new 8 lb higher mark has kicked in, she merits respect.
Winner of sole start between the flags last year and has made the frame in maiden hurdles at Stratford and Uttoxeter, either side of a poor display at Chepstow. Appeals as the type to do better now venturing down the handicap route but she will need to improve significantly in order to take this.
From the family of very smart hurdler/chaser Finian's Oscar and duly left maiden/novice form a long way behind when accounting for 10 rivals back from a break on handicap debut at Warwick (19f, good) last month. This 7 lb higher mark looks manageable and she may well have more to offer.
Placed on second of 2 starts in Irish points and promise on third hurdles run when fifth of 14 in a Hereford maiden in May. However, subsequent handicap debut at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good) was low-key and while she's bred to appreciate this stiffer test, others make more appeal.
Down the weights and seemingly back on track following a wind op when third in back-to-back handicap hurdles during the summer. However, commensurate with her rather up-and-down profile, she has failed to fire the last twice and others make more appeal.
Put a string of below-par efforts behind her when landing a 14-runner handicap hurdle at Kelso (2¼m, good) last month. Remains on a workable mark back up 5 lb and she has to enter calculations.
Maiden Irish pointer who didn't shape at all badly when fourth of 12 over this C&D in March. However, it would be fair to say that she has failed to build on that since and a stiffer test is probably what she needs.
A fair bumper winner but yet to click following 7 attempts in this sphere and she's probably worth taking on.

Forecasts
Apples Moon (2/1), State Of Honor (9/2), Miss Applejack (13/2), Inchiquin Spirit (13/2), Ede'iffs Rock (9/1), Well Done Dani (10/1), Fenney Brook (11/1), Smugglers Haven (16/1), Morning Fortune (33/1)
With the promise of more to come from APPLES MOON on the back of her handicap debut success at Warwick, she is taken to follow up here. The consistent State of Honor looks set for another prominent role, while Well Done Dani, who regained the winning thread at Kelso, should also have a part to play.
- Apples Moon2/1
- Well Done Dani10/1
