Better than ever this summer, overcoming mistakes when adding to his tally at Perth (20f) in July and matching that form from a 6 lb higher mark when runner-up at Uttoxeter (23.3f), Backward step at Worcester but given a break and he can make his presence felt.
Form this season has a patchy look to, making a winning reappearance at Stratford in June and runner-up at Uttoxeter a month later along with a trio of lesser efforts (all around 2m). Up in trip but he stays this far.
7-y-o mare who enhanced healthy strike rate in handicaps at Newton Abbot (21.5f) in July. Up 5 lb, again ran well when second of 7 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (20f, good) but latest rise in the weights seemed to find her out at Fontwell.
Dual-course winner over 19.7f this time last year but essentially disappointing in handicaps since. May strip fitter for August's return to action.
Failed to meet market expectations several times last season for Charlie Longsdon. Since joined another good yard and he's well weighted if revived by a change of scenery.
Fairly useful hurdler who took a step back in the right direction when fourth at Warwick in April. Pulled up at Fontwell a month later and off since but he's back on his last winning mark.
Confirmed promise of previous run when winning 9-runner novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft) in June, kept up to work. Improved again when third on handicap debut at Market Rasen and this trip may unlock more.
C&D winner who was second in March 2023 but wasn't seen again until finishing a remote seventh at Worcester a month ago, considerately handled. Entitled to come on for the outing but a leap faith required to back him.

Forecasts
Baskerville (4/1), The Height Of Fame (4/1), Magic Seven (4/1), Haas Boy (9/2), Gris Majeur (6/1), Galata Bridge (17/2), Sambezi (18/1), Donnie Azoff (20/1)
BASKERVILLE is going the right way over hurdles and with this trip promising to suit coupled with a conditional taking off a valuable 10 lb, he could be the answer. Galata Bridge is a solid opponent, while Haas Boy is interesting on return for his new stable.
