Jumps Is Back With Rhino.Bet Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Useful on Flat and made a good start over hurdles in the spring, building on Wetherby run (when well backed) when landing bare 2m Wincanton novice. Good second under a penalty at Kempton and there should be more to come from him this term (has had a breathing op).

Out of a winning hurdler and showed promise on the first of 2 starts in bumpers last year. Easily best effort over hurdles when runner-up at Stratford in June, jumping well. Got to be respected.

Just minor promise in bumpers but well prepared to make a winning hurdles debut at Worcester in July. Bare form isn't anything special but she's in the right hands.

£7,500 6-y-o, Gatewood gelding. Dam, showed nothing sole start in bumpers, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3½m) Mr Woodentop. Winning pointer (record patchy in that sphere) but pulled up on Rules debut a fortnight ago. Headgear on.

Fair hurdler who showed improved form to run out an emphatic winner after 13 weeks off at Fontwell (21.8f, good) in May. Back at that level when second in handicap company over the same C&D but her merit seems established.

Produced an effort more in keeping with his Flat form when second in a 2m maiden at Worcester last month. Never threatened when sixth on handicap debut back there a month ago and looks vulnerable returned to novice company.
