Developed into a useful hurdler last season, signing off with a win at Perth in April. However, this trip looks on the short side starting out over fences.

Useful hurdler but last 2 starts have been poor. Switches to fences now (runner-up on second of 2 starts in Irish points).

Developed into a useful hurdler last season, winning 3 times before shaping as if still in form at Aintree final start. Ideally wants further than this but is bred for chasing and any rain is a positive.

Forecasts

Uncle Bert (1/1), L'eau Du Sud (6/4), Rare Edition (2/1), Rambo T (3/1)

Verdict

All 4 were useful over hurdles but L'EAU DU SUD is likely to have too much pace for these over this trip. Rare Edition is next best.
