Tailed-off eleventh of 13 in handicap at Kempton (16f, 14/1) just over 3 weeks ago. Had been in good order prior so can bounce back.

Successful twice in staying handicaps during 2023 but it's been a bit of a mixed bag this season, finishing a close fifth at Kempton in July but then well beaten at Goodwood (14f, soft) the following month. Return to all-weather a plus so not discounted (has also had another wind op).
|
Fair form in 3 outings for Joseph O'Brien in Ireland but after wind surgery, failed to improve on his handicap debut for a new yard when seventh of 10 at Haydock (11.6f, good) just over 3 weeks ago. Back on all-weather and hiked up in trip.

Evens and cheekpieces on for 1st time, won 11-runner handicap at Pontefract (17.1f, good to firm) 10 days ago, leading 2f out. Unexposed over marathon distances and probably has more to offer for a yard adept with such types.
|
Course winner in August. 4/1, ran at least as well in defeat when second of 6 in handicap at Yarmouth (14.1f, good to firm) 10 days ago. Upped further in trip and it remains early days with him as a stayer.
|
Winner at Newcastle in September. 11/2, had little go right when seventh of 8 in handicap at Kempton (16f) 13 days ago, slowly away. Must bounce back.

Environment Amigo (11/8), Judgementofsolomon (11/8), Banderas (9/1), Clockwatcher (10/1), Love Safari (10/1), Aztec Sun (22/1), Sharp Distinction (25/1)
Cases can be made for most of these but, in a change of headgear, LOVE SAFARI shaped much better than he had been doing for Charlie Johnston when seventh at Ayr last week so he gets the nod to make his second start on the all-weather a winning one at the expense of Judgementofsolomon, who unsurprisingly had no problem with a longer trip when scoring at Pontefract recently and should have more to offer. Environment Amigo looks best of the rest.
