Siyouni colt. Looked a smart prospect when winning 15-runner maiden at this C&D (heavy) on debut. Has 6-month absence to overcome in this stronger race but he's sure to improve.

Useful filly. Latest win at Gowran in July. Good second of 19 in handicap at Leopardstown (8f, good, 11/1) 15 days ago. Respected.
Useful gelding. Career best when winning 10-runner handicap (15/2) at Leopardstown (7.2f, good) in July and possible all was not well when finishing last of 9 in listed race at Cork 44 days ago. Player at this level if able to bounce back.
Fairly useful filly. Respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Fairyhouse (7f, good, 9/1) 6 days ago. Failed to impress with her attitude there and others are preferred.
Fairly useful gelding. 33/1, 5¼ lengths seventh of 11 to Bucaneer's Spirit in handicap at Navan (8f, good) 8 days ago. Difficult to envisage him turning the tables.
Useful gelding. Latest win at Leopardstown in July. Run best excused when eighth of 16 in handicap at York (7.9f, good to firm, 11/1) 37 days ago, not ideally placed. Still very much worth viewing positively and he's a major player.

Forecasts
Procrastinate (1/1), Tokenomics (7/2), Snellen (11/2), Bucaneer's Spirit (13/2), Transcending Glory (17/2), Elinor Dashwood (12/1), Goal Exceeded (16/1)
BUCANEER'S SPIRIT has proven most progressive since joining the Jack Davison yard and he can follow up his recent smooth-travelling win at Navan. Tokenomics was on the upgrade until contesting a hot handicap at the Ebor meeting and can't be best judged on that performance, so rates as the biggest threat, whilst impressive maiden winner Procrastinate is very interesting after a 6-month break.
