Green Imp Mares' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Overcame inexperience to make a winning start in a Sedgefield bumper in October and showed better form in defeat thereafter, including when fifth of 16 in Grade 2 Nickel Coin Mares' National Hunt Flat Race at Aintree on final outing. Potentially useful recruit to hurdling.

A fair 1m4f Flat winner for Hughie Morrison who finished down the field in 3 bumpers for Laura Morgan but shaped as if retaining ability tried hurdling at Worcester 12 days ago, still in touch when when all but came down 2 out (pulled up quickly).

Dual bumper winner in 2023 but has finished down the field in 3 maidens/handicap on Flat for current yard this year.

Fair handicapper on Flat. Yet to reach that level over hurdles but has been placed in a maiden/novice this summer and was considerately handled when a bit below form at Newton Abbot last week.

No form in 2024 on Flat and just modest form standout effort over hurdles.

Shaped as if in need of the experience when well held in juvenile hurdle at Fakenham (16f, soft) on NH debut 10 months ago. First run for yard after leaving Ben Pauling.

Telescope filly. Half-sister to useful hurdler Sam's Gunner. Dam (b85) placed in bumpers. Market should point the way.

Showed a bit when third on 8 in a Newton Abbot bumper on debut but disappointed on first start for current yard at Worcester last time. Hard to fancy.
