Dual 10f winner in August and posted an excellent third of 9 in handicap at Beverley (9.9f, good to firm, 6/1) 22 days ago. Has been temperamental but merits serious consideration in her current mood.

Won 5-runner handicap at Musselburgh (12.5f, good to firm, 7/1) 7 days ago, well on top finish. Ungenuine type though so needs to back it up.

Fair gelding. Latest win at Newcastle in April. Off 4 months before coming in fourth of 5 to Kingsley Pride in handicap at Musselburgh (12.5f, good to firm) 7 days ago, doing too much too soon. Can't be ruled out with that run under his belt.

Modest gelding. Fifteen runs since last win in 2023. 3/1, respectable sixth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) 5 days ago. Very hard to make a case for at these weights however.

Temperamental sort who beat only one in handicap at Brighton (9.9f, soft, 15/2) 13 days ago. Cheekpieces replace blinkers. Weighted to go close if back on his A-game.

Forecasts

Kingsley Pride (11/8), Bay Dream Believer (3/1), Dr Foster (10/3), Midnight Lion (15/2), Loom Large (20/1), Fanaigi Linn (22/1)

Verdict

BAY DREAM BELIEVER comes here in top form and is fancied to quickly resume winning ways on the back of her excellent Beverley handicap third. Midnight Lion should strip fitter for his recent Musselburgh fourth so could emerge as the main danger to Mark Walford's mare, with Dr Foster and Kingsley Pride also in the picture if bringing their respective A-games.
