Devondale Electrical Handicap Hurdle (Div 2)

Dual hurdle winner in 2022/23 season but drew a blank in handicaps last season. Has a reduced mark to work with as a result but betting is perhaps the best guide after 5 months off.

Placed twice last summer but hard to get excited by his efforts on the Flat or over hurdles since. Arrives with plenty to prove.

Well handicapped on his best hurdle form for Stuart Edmunds. Not disgraced in 2 Flat outings for James Owen in recent weeks and she's the type this stable will get wins out of. Has a hood she wore earlier in her career combined with her now regular tongue strap.

C&D winner in July and also third here on his last 2 outings. Likely to figure again.

10/1, creditable seventh of 15 in handicap hurdle at this course (18.5f, good) 29 days ago. Less exposed than a lot of these after only a handful of hurdle starts.

Below form fifth of 12 in C&D handicap (good to soft) 61 days ago. Mark in freefall but need to see more.

Fair maiden on the Flat. Thrice-raced maiden over hurdles, finishing a remote sixth of 14 in maiden here (18.5f, good) 29 days ago. Handicaps may see him in a better light.

Fair maiden handicapper on Flat but has yet to better poor form over hurdles, including on first handicap start in this sphere at Stratford 24 days ago.

Fair maiden at best on the Flat but hasn't replicated that over hurdles as yet and looks set for another struggle from out of the weights.
