Respectable efforts at Downpatrick (17.8f) and Ballinrobe (22.4f) the last twice. This may well prove to be her optimum trip and she could have more to offer for her top Irish yard now pitched into a handicap.

Off the mark on return from a break/debut for this yard at Market Rasen in June. Followed that with a respectable third off 4 lb higher in a Uttoxeter handicap but no so good last 2 starts and needs to get back on track.

Out of a winning hurdler/chaser and offered plenty of encouragement when third at Musselburgh on debut. Failed to build on that since, though, including in 3 runs in this sphere, and he needs to raise his game now handicapping.

Fairly useful maiden on the Flat, most recently finishing fourth of 12 in a Galway handicap. However, low-key in 3 appearances over hurdles so far and this Irish raider is another who needs to improve now switched to handicap company for the first time in this sphere.

Opened hurdles account at Hexham last autumn and back on track when second in a 9-runner handicap at Cartmel (2¾m, good) on latest start in June. Nudged back up 3 lb but she pulled clear of the third that day and will surely have a part to play if in a similar mood here.

Has showed more spark switched to handicaps for Paul Flynn the last twice, latterly coming home sixth of 18 upped to 3m at Tipperary. Well worth considering back down in trip on debut for new yard.

Notched third success of 2023 when taking a 19f Fontwell handicap last October. Now 3 lb below that winning mark and, having stepped up on his low-key reappearance when mid-field at Newton Abbot (18.5f, good) recently, this 6-y-o is one to consider.

Winning hurdler/chaser in Ireland for Gavin Cromwell. Some encouragement here on debut for this yard in May but it would be hard to argue that he's built on that in his 3 subsequent starts. Cheekpieces refitted (well held sole previous run in this headgear).

A three-time winner last summer and while he hasn't come close to scaling those heights since (both in this sphere and on the Flat) since returning from a break in May, this 6-y-o is dangerous to discount having slipped to an attractive mark.

Stepped up on what he achieved for previous connections when third of 13 on debut for this yard in first-time tongue strap at Newton Abbot (26.5f, good) recently. That form is nothing special but will have an each-way chance if able to build on that here with Rex Dingle taking over.

A fair performer on the Flat for Lucinda Russell last year but no better than poor form over hurdles for this yard. Likely to find one or two too good here.

A chance is taken on GAVIN, who hasn't fired so far this year but he's plummeted down the weights as a result (now 17 lb below last winning mark) and he performed well when runner-up on his sole previous visit here last June. Winds of Winter is interesting on debut for his new yard having acquitted himself well in big-field handicaps in Ireland the last twice, while Irish raider Gina Moon, Sassified and Solway Molly all need considering, too.
