Made a winning start over hurdles in a C&D juvenile (good to soft) in July. Only fifth in a Ffos Las novice back on the Flat since but big player back over timber.

Fair maiden on the Flat for Andrew Balding who, having been gelded, made perfect start over hurdles in Uttoxeter juvenile in July. Just as good under a penalty at Cartmel since. Should go well again.

Offered little in 3 Flat runs for David Evans last year. Took to hurdling when third at Hexham (2m, soft) in June but hasn't reproduced that form twice since.

Has some fair form to his name in France but pulled up in a Clairefontaine claimer when last seen in July. Jack Tudor is on the stable's other runner but the betting should provide more clues.

Modest on Flat. Better effort over hurdles this summer when 8 lengths third of 8 to the reopposing Torrent at Uttoxeter (2m, good to firm) 6 weeks ago.

Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1¼m) who has been placed in both hurdles. Likely to be competitive again.

Well beaten in a AW Flat maiden for the Crisford stable in May and suffered a similar fate on Cartmel hurdle debut a fortnight ago. Masonbrook Meadow is the more obvious of the yard's pair.

Poor form in 3 outings over 7f on the Flat last autumn and a similar standard over hurdles this summer, despite reaching the frame on a couple of occasions.

Fair maiden on the Flat in Ireland for Joseph O'Brien. Should be up to making an impact in a race like this if translating that ability to hurdles at the first attempt.

Forecasts

Final Entry (11/4), Window Of Time (10/3), Torrent (7/2), Scottie's Sister (6/1), Masonbrook Meadow (9/1), Saucats (11/1), Unleash Hell (12/1), Bajan New Moon (40/1), Path Of Stars (150/1)

Verdict

FINAL ENTRY gets the nod to make it 2-2 in C&D juveniles. Fellow hurdle winner Torrent is second choice ahead of Masonbrook Meadow. Window of Time is a hurdle debutante to keep an eye on in the betting.
