Returned to form when creditable fourth of 16 in handicap hurdle (12/1) at Cork (18.4f, good to soft) 27 days ago but is still looking for his first success in this sphere after 17 starts.
Flat winner who struck at the fourth time of asking over hurdles when seeing off 4 rivals in a 2½m Sedgefield mares' novice in February. Acquitted herself well on Flat and in this sphere more recently but others look better treated.
Failed to justify strong support when respectable sixth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (18.6f, good, 5/2) 9 days ago but not been with top yard long and must enter calculations.
Took advantage of drop in the weights when narrowly taking 9-runner handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (19.9f, soft) 46 days ago, holding on gamely. Just 3 lb higher now and must enter calculations.

C&D winner last year but not been in same form more recently, beaten long way when second of 13 in handicap hurdle at this course (23f, good) 38 days ago. Others preferred.
C&D winner last summer but ran badly when sent over fences here 62 days ago and has something to prove back over the smaller obstacles.
Not really threatened in a handful of starts in this sphere and looks on a stiff mark for his handicap debut.
Fair hurdler but just a modest maiden handicap chaser for Rose Dobbin and ran poorly, on debut for new yard, over fences at Newton Abbot 6 weeks ago. Switches to hurdling now.
C&D winner last September but not been in same form since, albeit she shaped better than distance beaten when sixth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Stratford (22f, good, 12/1) 5 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Disappointed at Ffos Las when last seen in May but been cut plenty of slack by the handicapper and has since joined Dan Skelton. Worth a close look in the market.
Ran well over fences at Ffos Las in May but wasn't in same form in this sphere at Perth last month and percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
Santa Clarita (5/2), Duchamps Art (9/2), Outback Frontiers (5/1), Limerick Leader (11/2), Best Mate Dave (8/1), Bergentown (8/1), Hedera Park (17/2), Ragosina (10/1), Faerie Cutlass (10/1), Winds Of Fire (14/1), Unspeakable (16/1), Sefton Warrior (28/1), Saint Vic (40/1), Silent Auction (50/1)
BERGENTOWN is 2 lb below his winning mark and acquitted himself well in a similar contest here in June. He gets the nod in an open-looking contest. Winds of Fire and Santa Clarita head the list of dangers.
