Arrived on a hat-trick and wasn't seen to best effect as things got tight for a few (also caught further back than ideal) when fourth of 15 at Uttoxeter (19.9f, good) 5 weeks ago, finishing with running left. Well worth another chance from his reassessed mark.

Completed a cross-code hat-trick last summer. Also excellent fourth in the Cesarewitch on the Flat in the autumn but has struggled for form since. His mark has come down as a result but best watched unless the betting hints that a revival is anticipated (headgear back on).
Firmly back in form with cheekpieces fitted, clear of the rest when second of 11 at Worcester (23f, good) 11 days ago. Mark unchanged and fancied to be involved.
Rewarded strong support when making winning debut for new yard in handicap at Market Rasen in June. Again heavily backed but seemed undone as much by the way the race developed as the 11 lb rise back there when close fifth the following month. Tongue tie applied and upped in trip.
Got back on track after a couple of lesser efforts when third on handicap debut at Fontwell in April 2023. Failed to get home upped in trip the following month and switched yards after (for £18,000), winning a point in the meantime (fell latest start in May).
Fair hurdler who showed improved form to run out an emphatic winner after 13 weeks off at Fontwell (21.8f, good) in May. Failed by a long chalk to repeat that in novice company at Cartmel last month but can bounce back returned to a handicap.

Forecasts
Earth Cry (2/1), River Robe (11/4), Stans The Man (7/2), Sam's Amour (8/1), Bashful Boy (17/2), Lunar Contact (11/1)
Things didn't pan out ideally for EARTH CRY when bidding for a hat-trick at Uttoxeter last month, so Neil Mulholland's 6-y-o is well worth another chance from his reassessed mark at the expense of Stans The Man, who has been rejuvenated by the fitting of cheekpieces and pulled clear with the winner at Worcester 11 days ago. River Robe looks best of the rest.
