5/6

Fair hurdler who ran well over C&D before resuming winning ways in first-time cheekpieces in 9-runner novice at around this trip at Newton Abbot in June. Fell fourth there next time but key player here if none the worse.

Yellow Car⁵³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Nick Slatter⁽³⁾| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| D

6/4

Won a maiden point in May and overcame lingering greenness to make a successful start over hurdles at Newton Abbot (21.6f) 7 weeks ago. Second and third won next time and he can improve with experience. Leading claims.

Form: 6-1U1

Ballydesmond²¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Tom Buckley⁽³⁾| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 112

8/1

Winner of a hunter chase in Ireland in May 2023 but poor efforts for new yard last season, with a breathing operation in between (bled when pulled up on latest). Probably a long-distance staying chaser in the making and bit to prove on hurdles debut back from 7 months off in any case.

Form: 212/14P-

Jtadore De Forgan^t1¹⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Adam Wedge| T: L Morgan

200/1

Little promise in points or over hurdles. Upped in trip with tongue tie on now.

Form: P/4U-097

Upthereforthinking^p³⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: J Coulson| OR: 107

50/1

Modest maiden over hurdles in Ireland for Gavin Cromwell. Considerately handled on first start for new yard at Uttoxeter 30 days ago. Would make more appeal in a handicap.

Form: 66F-047

Forecasts

Huelgoat (5/6), Yellow Car (6/4), Ballydesmond (8/1), Lady Henrietta (25/1), Upthereforthinking (50/1), Jtadore De Forgan (200/1)

The penalised winners YELLOW CAR and Huelgoat look to have this between them, and boasting more potential it's Yellow Car who has to get the vote to make it 2-2 in this sphere.
