3/1

Course winner who possibly needed the run after 9 months off when eighth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (24.5f, good to firm, 7/1) 51 days ago. Better showing can be expected from reduced mark.

12/1

Off the mark over C&D in May. However, disappointed both starts since, pulled up in handicap hurdle (25/1) at Roscommon (24f, soft) 20 days ago, tailed off when pulled up before 3 out. Visor replaces cheekpieces now.

4/1

25/1, creditable third of 8 in handicap hurdle at this C&D (good) 15 days ago, closing when not clear run approaching last. Remains relatively lightly raced and he's one to bear in mind.

Form: 387483

Form: 24-747P

Pettigo^t¹⁵

10/3

Good third of 10 in handicap hurdle (7/2) at this course (17.8f, good) 15 days ago. One to consider judged on balance of his efforts since returning to action, now stepping back up in trip.

Form: 70/6253

Dunleer Phoenix^p¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-3| J: F Brickley⁽⁷⁾| T: G Elliott| OR: 84

22/1

Twelfth of 15 in handicap hurdle at this C&D (good, 18/1) 15 days ago, never involved following 11 months off. This should reveal more but his overall record is anything but solid.

Form: 0UP3P-0

Portnacoo⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-3| J: Paddy Hanlon⁽⁷⁾| T: H Smyth| OR: 84

15/2

10/1, first run since leaving Jamie Albert Sloan when respectable fifth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Sligo (20.6f, soft) 5 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.

Form: PP79-65

Hob's Angel³⁴⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: K Callaghan⁽⁵⁾| T: J Barcoe| OR: 83

40/1

200/1, fourteenth of 17 in novice hurdle at Navan (20f, good to soft) in September, always behind. Lengthy absence to overcome now handicapping for new yard and a lot more required if she's to figure.

Form: 0/007U0-

Forecasts

Andys Flame (3/1), Tankardstown Diva (3/1), Pettigo (10/3), My Policy (4/1), Circus Act (7/1), Portnacoo (15/2), Mustameet Secret (9/1), Quite Incredible (12/1), Dunleer Phoenix (22/1), Hob's Angel (40/1)

TANKARDSTOWN DIVA shaped well, particularly with a view to stepping back up in trip, when fifth in a big-field handicap at Galway (16.6f) 4 weeks ago and, remaining the type to do better still in handicaps, she makes a good deal of appeal here. My Policy and Pettigo can emerge as the lead threats, along with Andys Flame.
