Wilful¹⁰⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 116

5/2

Progressive winner in bumpers and has already scored twice over hurdles, doubling his tally in comfortable fashion at Hexham 109 days ago. Definite player up in trip.

Form: 41221-1

Light Fandango^t⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: B S Hughes| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 118

4/1

First run since leaving Colm A. Murphy when winning 11-runner novice hurdle (2/5) at Uttoxeter (15.8f, soft) 43 days ago, kept up to work. Back up in trip. May do better still and is worthy of respect.

Form: 531

Onlyamatteroftime⁸³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: Mr P W Mullins| T: W P Mullins| OR: 115

8/15

Bumper winner who hasn't been the most straightforward over hurdles for this yard but is going the right way now and made the most of a simple task in a novice at Warwick (19f) 83 days ago. Capable of following up.

Form: RR602-1

Connolly²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: James Turner⁽⁷⁾| T: S-J Davies

200/1

Well held in bumpers and both starts over hurdles, leaving Emma Lavelle prior to latest start at Uttoxeter.

Form: 08/97-0

Jour D'orage⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: James Best| T: Simon Earle

80/1

Half-brother to 4 winners, including fairly useful French chaser Top Secret but failed to beat a rival at Uttoxeter in a bumper last month. Others are more persuasive.

Form: 9

Noble Cave⁷¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: R P McLernon| T: J & A O'Neill

80/1

Yet to show anything in two goes over hurdles and it's hard to see him make a serious impact in this.

Form: P-9

Pennant Legacy⁶³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Mrs D A Hamer

150/1

Little show in a bumper/novice hurdle and is set for another struggle.

Form: 90

Pyrrhic Dancer^t⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Isabelle Ryder⁽¹⁰⁾| T: G Brown

66/1

Modest Flat winner who hasn't shown much on either hurdling outing. Hard to fancy.

Form: P-4

Forecasts

Onlyamatteroftime (8/15), Wilful (5/2), Flying Fortune (3/1), Light Fandango (4/1), Nathanael Greene (12/1), Getoverthathill (33/1), Pyrrhic Dancer (66/1), Sheer Joy (66/1), Noble Cave (80/1), Jour D'orage (80/1), Pennant Legacy (150/1), Connolly (200/1)

ONLYAMATTEROFTIME isn't entirely straightforward but has some talent and, given the amount he had in hand when opening his hurdling account at Warwick, he's worth a chance to follow up at the possible expense of Wilful, who is seeking a hat-trick. Flying Fortune is also a big player if taking part on the back of a two-day turnaround.
