11/2, won 11-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 12 days ago, leading under 3f out and just holding on. Remains feasibly treated on old form, so he's one to consider.
11/1, ran below form without usual headgear on first outing since leaving Alice Haynes for 11,000 gns when sixth of 8 in handicap at Hamilton (5f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces back on. Shortlist material on his penultimate second at Nottingham last month.
Winner at Doncaster in June. 9/1, wasn't seen to best effect when seventh of 12 in handicap at same course (5f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago, never nearer after forced to switch over 1f out. Each-way claims.
11/2, showed improved form to get off the mark for the season in 12-runner handicap at Newcastle (5f) 8 days ago, going several lengths clear over 1f out and always holding on. 5 lb higher back on turf and looks sure to go well again.
Twenty runs since last win in 2022. 18/1, eleventh of 18 in handicap at Naas (5.9f, good) 5 weeks ago. Cheekpieces back on. Mark in freefall but others make greater appeal.
Latest win at Hamilton in July. Again ran respectably when fourth of 7 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm, 11/2) 8 days ago. Not taken lightly for an in-form trainer/jockey combination.
18/1, showed more than previously after 11 months off (gelded) when fourth of 8 on handicap debut at this C&D (good to firm) 19 days ago. Task is now to build on that effort.
100/1, fared little better dropped markedly in trip when 6¼ lengths seventh of 11 to Zuffolo on handicap debut at this C&D (good to firm) 12 days ago, never nearer. Others preferred.

Forecasts
Zuffolo (10/3), Parisiac (7/2), Warrendale Wagyu (4/1), Cuban Rock (4/1), Iva Batt (5/1), Dc Flyer (11/1), Shatin Venture (20/1), Royal Duke (80/1)
A tricky sprint to solve but the verdict goes to PARISIAC, who was a shade underwhelming on his yard debut at Hamilton just over 3 weeks ago, but he's fancied to get back on track in reapplied headgear. Zuffolo got off the mark for the season over C&D recently, so he heads up the dangers, ahead of the consistent Cuban Rock and recent Newcastle winner Dc Flyer.
