C&D winner who developed into a smart handicapper for this yard in 2022 (including close second in the Ebor) but he hasn't been since pulling up at Chester in September of that year. The betting is perhaps the best guide after such a long absence.
Quickly developed into a useful performer last season and likely needed her recent Newmarket reappearance after 11 months off. Will need improvement from this mark, though.
Won a Glorious Goodwood handicap last summer and back to best on AW this summer, scoring over this trip at Kempton 37 days ago. Raised 6 lb for that but still much respected for a yard no stranger to success in this.
Didn't cut much ice in 2 tries over hurdles in the winter but improved to come out on top back on the Flat at Windsor in April. Even better form when splitting progressive 3-y-os over C&D 15 days ago and he's much respected despite a further 3 lb rise.
Both wins on AW but also effective on turf. Good third to the reopposing The Goat at Kempton latest and this thriving sort should play a prominent role again here.
Scored at Chester in June. Also a creditable fifth at Newcastle later that month but he recorded 3 below-par efforts in July.
Eleven runs since last win in 2023. 7/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Chepstow (12f, good to soft) 2 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Won over this trip at the York Dante meeting in May and improved again to shade a tight finish over 1¾m here last month. A bit keen for his own good in steadily-run races on his last 2 starts but might get a truer pace to aim at back over shorter.
Won at Kempton (11f) for new yard and creditable fourth of 11 at York since. Ought be competitive again.
14/1, won 11-runner handicap at the Curragh (1¼m, good to soft) 42 days ago, digging deep. Stable's British runners are always respected.

Forecasts
Dancing In Paris (4/1), Insanity (9/2), The Goat (9/2), Truthful (11/2), Set Point (11/2), Cracksking (17/2), Good Too (12/1), Dream Harder (20/1), Loyal Touch (28/1), Alfred Boucher (50/1)
INSANITY's latest C&D second appeals as good form so he's preferred to recent Kempton 1-3 The Goat and Cracksking in this competitive middle-distance handicap.
