11/1

Settled better and showed something like his debut form when fourth of 8 in 1m novice at this course (good) 21 days ago. Still unexposed but isn't an obvious one to be suited by the step up in trip on handicap debut.

Dr Foster^v¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Jason Watson| T: M Appleby| OR: 73

11/2

Landed quite a valuable novice at 2 yrs and has run some good races in defeat this season, including in a first-time visor when second at Beverley (9.9f, good to firm) 18 days ago, though not for the first time hung right under pressure.

Form: 668832

City Of Delight²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: Rossa Ryan| T: D Menuisier| OR: 72| CD

1/2

Improved model back from a break/gelded, building on previous promise to open his account at Windsor (10f) before following up in likeable fashion over C&D last month. Could have even more to offer and looks up to completing the hat-trick.

Form: 47-3411

(4)

Volto Di Medusa²⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Callum Shepherd| T: Rae Guest| OR: 71

16/1

Opened his account in a 1m Bath maiden in April. Creditable efforts in handicaps next 2 starts and seemed not to stay upped to 12f at Epsom last time.

Form: 83-1634

Forecasts

City Of Delight (1/2), I Love Paris (3/1), Dr Foster (11/2), Enthused (13/2), Ajdayet (11/1), Volto Di Medusa (16/1), Jackson Street (28/1), Thoughtful Gift (28/1)

CITY OF DELIGHT is going the right way now and a 5 lb rise for last month's C&D win doesn't look enough to prevent the hat-trick. I Love Paris stuck to her task well in first-time cheekpieces at Newbury last time and can give another good account if the headgear continues to have a positive effect, with recent hurdles winner Enthused warranting respect, also.
