Dicko The Legend¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 9-12| J: Billy Garritty| T: L Bailey| OR: 71

10/3

Career best when winning 21-runner handicap (8/1) at York (6f, good to firm) 14 days ago, well drawn in a race where low numbers dominated but overcoming a troubled passage. Up 4 lb but this a weaker band of handicap so he's a massive player.

Our Absent Friends²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 9-11| J: Marco Ghiani| T: T Davidson| OR: 70| D

13/2

Best effort of the season when runner-up at Ripon last month but underlined inconsistency when failing to beat a rival in handicap at Haydock (6f, good to firm) 21 days ago. Others more persuasive.

Form: 060029

9/1

Dropped down to last winning mark and posted respectable third of 9 in handicap at Chester (5.1f, good) 13 days ago. Cheekpieces back on and he's been eased 1 lb so is of interest.

Form: 19-5943

(3)

Wee Fat Mac^t⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: Mohammed Tabti⁽⁵⁾| T: I Jardine| OR: 66| BF| D

9/2

Fairly reliable at this sort of level, creditable third of 7 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 7 days ago. Should be thereabouts.

Protest Rally^p⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 8-12| J: Tom Kiely-Marshall⁽⁷⁾| T: L Bailey| OR: 57| CD

C&D winner. Good second of 7 in handicap (15/2) at this C&D (good to firm) 7 days ago. Holding form pretty well but stablemate Dicko The Legend more appealing.

Forecasts

Classy Al (9/4), Dicko The Legend (10/3), Wee Fat Mac (9/2), Protest Rally (5/1), Our Absent Friends (13/2), Ecclesiastical (9/1), World Of Darcy (25/1)

DICKO THE LEGEND was better than ever when landing a big-field handicap at York a fortnight ago, and with this race actually a lesser band of handicap, his follow-up claims from 4 lb higher appear to be bright. Ecclesiastical lurks on a dangerous mark so is feared most, ahead of Wee Fat Mac.
