Arrives fit from the Flat and is well treated on the pick of his Irish form on this first hurdle start for the Ben Haslam yard. Market support could prove significant.
Thrived over hurdles last autumn. Fit from Flat, only midfield in a competitive Class 2 handicap back hurdling at Market Rasen last weekend but he can do better in these calmer waters. A first-time visor replaces his regular cheekpieces.
Produced a career-best to land a 9-runner handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (2m, good) in April. Didn't get the chance to show what he could do off his revised mark at Bangor since (brought down third). Player.
Well prepared following 8 months off to land 9-runner handicap hurdle at Stratford (2m, good to soft) last month. Could only manage fourth over fences at Worcester the following week but he's never really convinced in that sphere. Can fare better back hurdling.
Landed a pair of 2m handicaps in the first half of 2023. Resumed with 2 creditable placed efforts at the start of this year and something can't have been right when pulled up at Kempton in May. Given a bit of time since.
A returned to hurdles sparked a revival at Worcester last month, shading tight finish in a 2m handicap. Had the run of that race from the front so even a 2 lb nudge from the handicapper might leave him vulnerable.
Hit the target twice for Gordon Elliott last May but form tailed off badly thereafter and no show in 2 outings for new yard this summer.
Returned to winning ways at Musselburgh on New Year's Day and bounced back from a poor run when finding plenty to score at Perth in April. Probably remains in better form than latest eleventh of 12 at Cartmel might suggest, weakening only after last.
A bit hit and miss but very much on a going day when back to winning ways at Market Rasen (16.5f, good) 3 weeks ago. Should remain competitive up 3 lb.
Has won twice already this year and posted what was probably his best effort yet when runner-up in a Class 2 handicap at Cartmel last month. Needs to shrug off a lesser run back there last weekend, though.

Forecasts
Oslo (11/4), Enthused (10/3), Pillar Of Steel (9/2), Jacobs Acre (13/2), King Otis (9/1), Donnie Azoff (10/1), Scots Poet (10/1), Sea Prince (10/1), Playtogetaway (12/1), Flying Scotsman (28/1), Moonlight Glory (33/1), As Tears Go By (66/1)
A tight finale in which it might be worth chancing unexposed handicap newcomer JACOBS ACRE, with the form of his latest Worcester second boosted. Fergal O'Brien's Oslo is second choice ahead of Enthused, who should find this a bit easier than the competitive Summer Hurdle he contested at Market Rasen last weekend.
