Gents Raceday Friday 18th October Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race)

At the veteran stage but he was as good as ever last autumn, winning at Kelso (21f) and Ayr (3m). Off since a creditable third at Doncaster in December. Claims if ready to roll after 7 months off.

Made it 3 wins in 5 starts when striking on 23f Worcester reappearance in June. Creditable fourth of 13 over this C&D since. Likely to give another good account.

Thrived in 2021 and 2022, picking up 6 wins in all. Clearly had the odd issue given he missed all of 2023 but showed he retains his ability when third on Stratford return in June. Down the field over this C&D since, though.

C&D winner. Off 5 months, respectable fifth of 8 over C&D (good to soft) in May. Needs to build on that now.

Won a handicap chase at Hexham for Mark Campion in June 2022 and overcame a 2-year absence to make a winning start for this yard over hurdles there (23f) last month. Pulled up in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen back over fences last weekend but could bounce back returned to smaller obstacles.

Admirable veteran who bagged a 21f Newton Abbot handicap hurdle last summer and was given a considerate reappearance at Hexham last month. Others still more appealing, though.

Course winner who was better than ever when getting his head back in front at Perth (2½m) a fortnight ago. A 6 lb rise looks fair but stamina is an unknown up 3f in trip.

In good form, winning twice since April and had a couple of these rivals behind her when second of 13 over C&D 4 weeks ago. Likely to go well again.

Multiple winner over hurdles/fences but rather went off the boil last term and beaten 16 lengths when fourth to Secret Trix on his C&D reappearance 19 days ago.
