Won twice as a juvenile, showing useful form. Took a step forward when second in listed race at Chantilly on his return but that form hasn't worked out and he's found it tougher in similar events since. Handicap debut.

Shrugged off a poor run at Royal Ascot when creditable third of 7 in handicap at Pontefract (6f, soft, 10/3) 18 days ago. Stall 9 may not be ideal.
Cost a bit and landed the odds in a good time at Newbury (7f) last July. Shaped well (travelled well long way) on 6f Newmarket reappearance in May. Off 10 weeks since. Remains capable of better and one to consider.
Won his first three starts, including C&D handicap on reappearance in May. Solid fourth to Woodhay Wonder at Newmarket next time. Disappointing at York latest but can't discount back here from a good draw.
Signed off last season with 5f maiden and nursery wins in the mud but below that level on his return in the spring. Off 10 weeks.
Won 7f Catterick novice (heavy) on return in April and only lost race in Stewards' room on handicap debut at Newmarket (7f) later that month. Had wind surgery after a poor effort back at Newmarket in May and bounced back when third over C&D (soft) a fortnight ago. Player from a handy draw.
Four wins as a juvenile but 0-6 this year and well held last time. Drawn widest. Others are preferred.
Pair of Kempton wins earlier this year but the handicapper has been in charge lately. Others are more persuasive.
Son of Kodiac who has gone winless in 14 starts since debut success at Musselburgh (5f, soft) last April but he did run well for second over C&D 14 days ago.

Eye Of Dubai (3/1), Garfield Shadow (9/2), Warm Spell (9/2), Matters Most (6/1), Balon D'or (9/1), Irish Nectar (9/1), Action Point (12/1), Media Shooter (12/1), Beyond Borders (33/1), Knicks (33/1)
EYE OF DUBAI is better drawn than when third over C&D a fortnight ago and might prove the answer to this tight 3-y-o handicap. The unexposed Warm Spell has been given a bit of time since catching the eye on his Newmarket reappearance in May and is second choice ahead of Balon d'Or, who finished a place ahead of the selection over C&D last time.
