Did very well to add to his tally on the back of a very slow start at Lingfield (12f, AW) at the start of last month and has found only one too good both starts since. Respected.
Dual winner last term who made a fine return from 11 months off when second of 14 in handicap at Ascot (12f, good to firm). Ran another solid race when fourth at Doncaster since and can remain competitive following a gelding operation.
Lightly-raced son of Cracksman who produced a career best when winning 11-runner handicap at York (11.8f, good to soft) last week, doing well having conceded first run. Escapes a penalty for that, so has obvious claims.
Left soft-ground Leicester debut run well behind when winning 7f Kempton novice in October and progressed again after 8 months off when fourth at Newmarket (10f), albeit better placed than most. Into handicaps now and open to further improvement.
AW maiden winner in December and took a step forward in handicaps with his sights lowered when second in 7-runner event at Goodwood (12f) 4 weeks ago, despite wandering under pressure. Return to a more a conventional track a big plus and fancied to go one better.
Won 4 AW events equipped with a visor to start 2024 for Barry Brennan. However, produced a lacklustre effort at Hamilton last time and has since left Tom Dascombe.
Fairly useful maiden who was value for finishing closer to the winner when 9½ lengths second of 7 in handicap at Chester (12.3f, good) 20 days ago, having to pick way through entering final 1f.

Forecasts
Cool Legend (15/8), Ciro Di Marzio (9/4), Lieber Power (5/1), Open Secret (15/2), Great Bedwyn (8/1), Appier (16/1), Dunstan (33/1)
COOL LEGEND shaped best when second at Goodwood 4 weeks ago and makes plenty of appeal off the same mark now returned to a more conventional track, so he's a relatively straightforward choice. That said, lightly-raced 4-y-o Lieber Power did well under the circumstances to come out on top at York last week and is an obvious threat given he escapes a penalty for that win. Ciro di Marzio looks capable of improving again now entering handicaps and is feared, also.
