11/2, creditable third of 7 in minor event at Gowran (9.4f, good) 32 days ago, a more truly-run race likely to have suited ideally. Each-way claims again.

Quickly made up into a useful performer last summer and quickly reached a similar level over hurdles, winning twice. Creditable third in Punchestown Grade 1 when last seen in May and returns to this sphere with his yard amongst the winners.
Course winner. Latest win at Dundalk in March. First run since leaving Adrian McGuinness when creditable eighth of 13 in handicap (12/1) at the Curragh (7f, good to firm) 20 days ago. Up in trip.
Latest win over C&D in June. 20/1, creditable seventh of 14 in handicap back over this C&D 7 days ago. Can give another good account but his mark is probably about right.
5/1, very good second of 11 in handicap at Roscommon (10.3f, good to firm) 16 days ago, just failing. Yard in good form and one to consider eased back down in trip.
25/1, not seen to anything like best effect when tenth of 14 in handicap at the Curragh (7f, good) 55 days ago, meeting trouble 2f out/short of room 1f out and not knocked about. Back up in trip and he's one to bear in mind.
2 wins from 4 runs this year. Latest win at Navan in June. 7/1, last of 12 in handicap at Royal Ascot (10f, good to firm) 26 days ago, faltering under 2f out. Proving progressive previously and he rates a likely type to bounce back.
Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable fourth of 8 in handicap (12/1) at Naas (8f, good) 22 days ago, carrying head high and late headway. Has work to do.
Blinkered for 1st time, stepped up markedly on comeback run when good seventh of 21 in handicap at the Curragh (9f, good, 12/1) 20 days ago, never nearer. Headgear quickly discarded.
Showed improved form after 8 months off when landing big-field C&D handicap in June. Not in same form when twelfth of 21 in handicap at the Curragh (9f, good) 20 days ago and this mark demands a little more in this stronger company.

SLIEVE BINNIAN showed the benefit of his run at the Curragh (strong form) when narrowly failing at Roscommon 16 days ago, really motoring late on. He looks a big player again, with fellow 4-y-o Genuine Article also worth bearing in mind. Old Faithful and Thor's Hammer are respected in a competitive race of its type.
