Jebbo Becomes A Septuagenarian 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Signs of ability for Prunella Dobbs in Ireland and quietly progressive in handicaps for this yard, second of 10 at Worcester a fortnight ago. Likely to give it a good shot back in maiden company.

Showed some promise in bumpers and shaped in kind tried hurdling when tenth of 17 in a maiden at Wincanton (15.2f, soft) in January. Well held at Newton Abbot 11 days later and since left Ali Stronge.

Well held in bumpers 4 months apart for different yards. Tongue strap on now hurdling.

Fair maiden hurdler who showed he can be very competitive in handicaps when second over 19f at Carlisle (soft) in December. Too free back at that venue in February but in keeping with many from his yard, was right back on his game when runner-up at Hexham. Right in the mix fitted with cheekpieces.

Fair form on first of three outings in bumpers. Looked a work in progress in maiden hurdles but found no improvement switched to handicaps.

Minor promise in a trio of bumpers and progressed from hurdles debut when second of 9 at Uttoxeter a month. Winner that day improved since so he has to enter the reckoning.

Australia gelding. Dam, lightly-raced maiden on Flat, closely related to fairly useful hurdler (2m winner) Royal Reserve. Hooded but just hinted at ability when mid-field in a bumper at Haydock on debut in May.

First worthwhile form when third of 9 at Stratford last month but chance he was flattered in a slowly-run race.

£28,000 buy after finishing runner-up on her sole start in Irish points. Progressive form in bumpers, albeit at a fairly modest level and though sent off 66/1 for hurdles bow at Newton Abbot, she again showed ability.

Showed a bit in a bumper for Mrs Grainne O'Connor at Tipperary in May. Changed hands for £6,000 after and failed to build on that sent hurdling here a month ago.

Casamento filly. Dam unraced, out of useful hurdler/fair chase winner (stayed 2¾m) Bold Fire. Fourth on sole outing in points and joined a good yard, but bumper efforts at Southwell hardly brimming with promise. Hurdles debut for new yard.
