Second foal, dam (h122), dual bumper/2m hurdle winner (stayed 2¼m), also 2m winner on Flat, half-sister to very smart hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 23f) Bahrain Storm. Winning pointer, last of 4 last time (May 18). Irish raider commands respect with Sean Bowen booked.
Promising start when runner-up in a bumper at Doncaster in January 2023 and went one better in cosy fashion there last month. Progressed again when second in April and though 0ff 14 months, he's in excellent hands and is a very interesting hurdles debutant up in trip.
No impact in Irish points but left opening hurdles run well behind when third of 9 at Hexham (20.1f) last month. Had a breathing op and matched that form/position over same C&D 11 days ago.
Little in the way of worthwhile form.
€11,000 3-y-o, first foal: dam, fair 19f hurdle winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 3m) Victor Hewgo. Pulled up both starts in points (latest Feb 24). Headgear on.
Ran to a fair level when making the frame both completed starts over hurdles for Joseph O'Brien but has shown nothing so far for this yard. Hard to fancy after 9 months off.
Showed a bit when sixth of 15 in bumper at Ayr (16f, good) on debut in November but failed to repeat that effort both starts in 2023. Up in trip for hurdles debut.
Out of a winning hurdler/chaser and offered plenty of encouragement when third at Musselburgh on debut. Failed to build on that and after in bumpers and probably a longer-term project over hurdles.
Half-brother to fair 7f-1¼m winner Shalfa (by Ribchester). Dam 1m-1¼m winner who stayed 13f. Unplaced both starts in points and unseated rider in a bumper in May.
Fair hurdler who recorded another placed effort to her tally fitted with a hood over C&D 3 weeks ago, left with plenty to do how the race unfolded. Sets the standard.
Third foal, dam temperamental/modest 3m hurdle winner. Maiden pointer, pulled up last time (May 18).
Well held both starts over C&D in recent weeks.

Forecasts
Bishop Hill (15/8), Luckie Seven (9/4), Kells And Connor (11/4), Major Champion (9/1), Yakaleo (25/1), Southey (33/1), Sheriff Haskell (33/1), Easter Glory (66/1), Theonetowatch (100/1), Mrindependant (150/1), Bleu Lagune (200/1), Stand Staunch (250/1)
LUCKIE SEVEN has a 14-month absence to overcome but he was a well-above average sort in bumpers, and in the hope he takes to hurdling, is selected to outclass these. Bishop Hill has been knocking on the door in similar company so has to command respect, along with Kells And Connor on his Rules debut.
