Bumper/3-time novice hurdle winner who left a trio of poor efforts in his wake when runner-up in a C&D handicap chase 18 days ago, that despite going right at most of his obstacles. Task is to build on that and player if doing so.

Useful chaser for Tom Taaffe who was able to defy a lay-off of fully 32 months to win selling handicap hurdle on the bridle at Huntingdon in November. Mixed bag over fences since, plugging on for fourth at Fakenham (21.2f) 4 weeks ago.

Proved better than ever when doubling his chase tally at Sedgefield in October and respectable efforts over fences/on Flat next 2 starts. Shaped as if better for the run after 7 months off/following wind op at Bath 24 days ago and better showing anticipated.

Holding form well for this yard and ended a losing run dropped back in trip when landing 8-runner Stratford handicap chase (22.6f) 2 weeks ago, asserting final 50 yds. Rates a big player from 6 lb higher mark.

Finished runner-up 3 times earlier this year and belatedly cashed in off his much-reduced mark to end lengthy losing run at Bangor (3m) 23 days ago, asserting from 2f out and keeping on well. Overall record suggests he's not an obvious type to follow up, however.

Fairly useful winning chaser in France and some decent placed efforts for this yard last year. Struggled to find best form earlier this year but did at least fare a little better fitted with a visor when fourth of 5 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter 25 days ago. Needs to build on that now.

Modest maiden hurdler earlier in career. Fell in a hunter chase contest at Stratford (22.6f) 13 months ago but successful in points either side of that effort, runner-up last time (May 22). Booking of Harry Cobden catches the eye ahead of his handicap chase debut. Tongue tied.

He's fancied to handle the 6 lb rise and come out on top again. Hidden Depths, with a reappearance spin on the Flat under his belt, and Ajp Kingdom may emerge as the chief threats.
