Made light of an 11-month absence on debut for Anthony Charlton at Wincanton in January, leading on the line. Sketchy jump at the final flight was probably costly when second to stablemate Tronador starting out for this yard at Plumpton (20.5f, good to firm) last month. Big player.

Hit the target twice for Gordon Elliott last May but form tailed off badly thereafter and probably best watched on debut for new yard.

Returned from 7 months off to win at Plumpton (20.5f, good to soft) in November but hasn't shown much in 2 subsequent starts, including when returning from another break last month. Hard to now know what to expect on debut for new yard and Harry Skelton prefers Get Sky High.

Successful in handicap chase at Warwick in September 2022 but failed to threaten in 3 starts back hurdling last year and is opposable following a 6-month break.

Back to winning ways over 2m at Chepstow last April and cracking third in the Swinton at Haydock the following month. Not at that level in 2 starts since returning from 10 months off but his mark is on the slide and no surprise if he's in the mix.

Doubled his tally in this sphere when leading from pillar to post in a 3-runner C&D novice in September. However, he was turned over when odds-on for a seller back here on latest start in November.

Made it 4 wins from 7 starts for this yard when striking at Fakenham (2m, good) recently. 4 lb rise fair enough and anither bold show is very much on the cards.

ILANZ probably would've made a winning start for this yard granted a better jump at the last at Plumpton and, with this drop back in trip unlikely to be an issue, he gets the nod. The vote is only a marginal one, though, as King Otis and Get Sky High are strong, in-form candidates and Takeit Easy also enters calculations.
