Successful twice on Flat/over hurdles this time last year before a cracking fourth in Cesarewitch (18f) in the autumn. Largely disappointed over hurdles subsequently, last of 7 in handicap at Newton Abbot (18.5f) 26 days ago. Cheekpieces again absent ahead of this return to the level.
Ended time with Marco Botti with a creditable third at Southwell (11.1f) in March and, well backed, collared the errant runner-up to make a winning yard debut at Chester (12.3f, soft) 21 days ago. Nudged up 3 lb and he's respected again.
5-time winner for William Jarvis (2-2 over C&D) who returned to action with an encouraging third for new yard at Epsom (12f) in April. Couldn't replicate that when fifth at Salisbury (14.2f) latest but return to forecast quicker ground at this trip a likely plus. Better expected.
Four wins last year and advanced his form again when scoring comfortably on his 2m Kempton reappearance in April. Recent efforts not so inspiring though, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Haydock (16.2f, good to soft, 22/1) 21 days ago. Blinkers replace cheekpieces now.
Dual purpose performer who added a selling hurdle to his tally at Plumpton (15.9f) in November. Exploits mixed in trio of starts over timber followed but he ought to be sharper for his recent midfield effort at Windsor (11.5f) 26 days ago.
Daughter of Frankel who progressed steadily in her first season, well suited by the strong gallop when making second start in handicaps a winning one at Yarmouth (11.5f, soft) in October. Represents top yard and step up to 1¾m promises to suit on return. Lots to like.
Won 3 times since joining his current yard last summer and left opening exploits during the spring behind when third at Newbury (12f) in May. Not in same form when fifth of 9 in handicap at Haydock (11.8f) 3 weeks ago but he isn't one to write off back up in trip.
Fair maiden for Ralph Beckett, running best race when runner-up over this trip at Haydock in September. No real short-term encouragement after 9 months off/yard debut back at that venue 3 weeks ago but this should reveal more.

Coco Royale (2/1), Duke Of Verona (5/2), Dancing In Paris (4/1), Cavern Club (9/2), Rhythmic Intent (8/1), Blindedbythelights (8/1), Saligo Bay (11/1), Western Stars (11/1), Cinnodin (12/1), Bashful Boy (14/1), Alshadhian (25/1)
Having cleared away for an impressive success at York on his penultimate start, DANCING IN PARIS ran another solid race when run down late on at Goodwood 8 days ago. He remains one to be interested in and earns the vote upped in trip. Duke of Verona is unbeaten over C&D and he's another to bear in mind. Chester scorer Cavern Club and Coco Royale complete the shortlist in a competitive finale.
