Wonderwall¹⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 12-1| J: S Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 121

6/4

Useful bumper/hurdle winner for Richard Spencer who arrives here on the back of solid placed efforts over hurdles at Aintree/Cartmel in recent weeks. Has showed aptitude for this job for former yard previously and he's one to bear in mind.

Form: 4BP0-33

Broomfields Cave^p²³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: James Bowen| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 117

4/1

Dual point winner who doubled his hurdles tally at Uttoxeter (23.3f) in October and returned from a break in good heart, albeit not convincing in the jumping department when second of 4 on chase debut at Southwell (25.8f) 23 days ago. Others make more appeal overall.

Form: F5212-2

Exmoor Forest¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: David Noonan| T: N J Hawke| OR: 105

11/2

Maiden hurdle winner (at 25f) who has shaped with promise faced with inadequate tests on both his starts over fences to date, noted rallying well to finish second at Ffos Las (19.4f) 2 weeks ago. Longer trip sure to suit now and likely there's more to come in this sphere. Player.

Form: P4934-2

Langley Hundred^p,t⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-8| J: M G Nolan| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 100

15/8

Dual staying handicap hurdle winner who has eased in weights and returned to pick of his chase form (also had wind op) when runner-up in a C&D handicap 9 days ago, jumping on 4 out and edged out near finish. Possibilites from same mark if backing that up here.

Form: 52545-2

Forecasts

Wonderwall (6/4), Langley Hundred (15/8), Broomfields Cave (4/1), Exmoor Forest (11/2), Mr Yeats (10/1)

EXMOOR FOREST very much caught the eye, particularly with a view to stepping back up in trip, when runner-up at Ffos Las (19.4f) 2 weeks ago, noted finishing with running left. Still unexposed as a chaser, he earns the vote to build on the promise showed then, with Wonderwall, who is similarly unexposed as a chaser, and recent C&D second Langley Hundred others to consider.
