Ebony Warrior^t¹⁶⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Kielan Woods| T: D Killahena & G McPherson

14/1

Hasn't shown enough in bumpers to make him of serious interest on hurdling debut.

Form: 85-

Galway Reel¹⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: C J Todd| T: Ian Williams

11/1

Half-brother to numerous winners and showed more than on debut when second in bumper at Fakenham. Only modest form so far over hurdles, looking more of a handicap project.

Form: 02-45

Jacobs Acre^t⁷⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N P Mulholland

17/2

Fair form in bumpers and showed some aptitude when third in a novice at Wincanton 78 days ago. Place claims.

Form: 4/953-

Reach For The Moon¹²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden

3/1

Smart but lightly raced on Flat (barely stays 1¼m) for John & Thady Gosden, well held both starts in 2023. Reportedly returned lame when fourth on hurdles debut in February. Given time to recover and he has to be capable of better.

Form: 4-

Rocky's Glory^t⁵²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: D J Jeffreys

80/1

Hasn't shown enough in a bumper/novice hurdle in Ireland to make him of any interest for his new yard.

Form: 00/78-

Selectivelistening²⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Jack Andrews⁽³⁾| T: T Ellis

18/1

€20,000 3-y-o, Westerner gelding. Dam (h80), maiden hurdler (stayed 2½m), half-sister to fairly useful 19f hurdle winner Limestone Rock. Little show in points (pulled up last time, May 18).

Form: 5P7-P

Vocito^t²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: S Bowen| T: O Murphy| OR: 106| BF

8/11

Fair hurdler. First run since leaving Eoin Doyle when creditable second of 10 in novice hurdle at Perth (16.2f, good to soft, 7/4) 28 days ago. Sets a good standard.

Form: 67P25-2

Dorset Lady^t⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: R P McLernon| T: G Brown

50/1

Modest bumper performer in Ireland who made the frame once from 3 starts in maidens on the Flat. Yet to fire over hurdles for this yard, however.

Form: 77/393-P

Lady Showtime²⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 10-11| J: David Noonan| T: N J Hawke

150/1

Only hinted at ability on her second outing in bumpers and looks more of a long-term project.

Form: 7-6

Non-Runners

Groundbreaker²⁸⁵

Weight: 11-4| Age: 5

T: D Pipe J: Non Runner

Ghost Pepper

Weight: 10-13| Age: 4

T: D J Jeffreys J: Beau Morgan

Forecasts

Vocito (8/11), Reach For The Moon (3/1), Groundbreaker (7/2), Jacobs Acre (17/2), Galway Reel (11/1), Ebony Warrior (14/1), Selectivelistening (18/1), Dark Soldier (50/1), Ghost Pepper (50/1), Dorset Lady (50/1), Rocky's Glory (80/1), Lady Showtime (150/1)

REACH FOR THE MOON was talented on the Flat and had excuses when only fourth on hurdling debut at Sedgefield so, 4 months on, he's worth a chance to open his account in this sphere at the possible expense of Vocito, who sets the standard.
