Bagged 3 handicap hurdles here in 2022 and put in another good shift at this venue when third of 12 last autumn. Has struggled since, though, including back here 17 days ago. A first-time visor replaces cheekpieces.

Won 3 times for Milton Harris last summer. Ran out on his Ludlow reappearance but on his best behaviour when a creditable third at Huntingdon 3 weeks ago (final start for Richard Hawker). Contender if in the mood.

Won at Kempton (21f) in February 2023. Drawn a blank since but he might have needed the outing after 6 months off when a well-held fourth back at Kempton 5 weeks ago. Being eased 3 lb can only help, too.

Course winner but hinted at a quirky side when a below-form seventh of 12 here 4 weeks ago. Probably not one for maximum faith but he is well treated if bouncing back to anywhere near his best.

Won a 4-runner maiden hurdle at Fakenham last June but has largely found in tough in handicap company since, fading into fifth back at Fakenham 10 days ago.

Fair Flat winner who was runner-up for the second time over hurdles when going down by a length at Stratford (18.5f) 34 days ago, getting going late. Might have needed that after 10 weeks off and good shout here.

Showed some ability remains on his second outing back from a long absence when fourth of 10 at Hereford (2m, good to soft) 19 days ago.

Still a maiden and absent since finishing sixth of 12 over a slightly longer trip here 13 months ago.

Posted much her best effort of late when third of 10 over C&D last month but no shock when she wasn't in anything like the same form at Market Rasen since.

Poor maiden who has raced exclusively over fences in the last couple of years. Easy to look elsewhere.

AMALFI BAY is taken to go one better than in similar company at Stratford last month. Nadim is another who arrives on the back of a good placed effort and is second choice ahead of Tara Iti, who wasn't at his best last time but is well handicapped if on a going day.
