The Banger Doyle¹³

Age: 8| Weight: 10-6| J: Carl Millar⁽⁷⁾| T: J Queally| OR: 128| BF| CD

3/1

Hood on for 1st time in this code, creditable seventh of 17 in handicap at the Curragh (14f, soft, 11/2) 13 days ago, left with lot to do. Switches from Flat to chase. Better in this sphere and merits respect.

Form: 423433-

Gaelic Arc²⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 10-3| J: Gavin Brouder⁽⁵⁾| T: J P Ryan| OR: 125| D

10/3

Useful winner at 16f over hurdles. Third of 5 in novice chase (17/2) at Killarney (23f, good to soft) 27 days ago, pulling hard. Drop back in trip should suit and he's worth of interest on first go in a handicap chase.

Form: 4342/2-3

Typical Thomas³⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 10-3| J: Aidan Kelly⁽⁵⁾| T: J Fahey| OR: 125

11/2

Possibly amiss when pulled up in handicap chase at this course (16.3f, good to soft, 28/1) 37 days ago, folding tamely between 4 out and 3 out. Needs to get back on track.

Form: 21166P-

Great Bear³²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-1| J: Mike O'Connor⁽³⁾| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 123

3/1

Fairly useful winner at 17f over hurdles. Respectable third of 12 in handicap chase at Ballinrobe (17.1f, good, 13/2) 32 days ago. Should give another good account.

Form: 10235-3

Non-Runners

Lieutenant Highway¹⁰

Weight: 10-1| Age: 7

T: M McCabe J: Conor Stone-Walsh

Forecasts

The Banger Doyle (3/1), Great Bear (3/1), Gaelic Arc (10/3), Typical Thomas (11/2), Uncle Phil (6/1), Lieutenant Highway (14/1), Final Orders (18/1), Grey Diamond (20/1)

GAELIC ART has shown plenty as a chaser and, having pulled hard upped in trip last time, he makes plenty of appeal dropped back to a more suitable distance and switched to handicaps. The Banger Doyle should appreciate the return to this sphere, so he's a danger along with the in-form Great Bear.
