Improved model during second half of last year and took another step forward when landing a competitive, big-field Sandown handicap (19.8f, good) in good style at the end of April. Predictably hit hard for that (up 11 lb) but he's clearly talented and cannot be ruled out.

Four-time winner for Milton Harris in 2023 and looked better than ever when coming from off the pace to strike on debut for new yard at Aintree (2½m, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Hard to grumble with a 6 lb rise and this 7-y-o will be a danger to all granted a strong end-to-end gallop.

Won 3 times for Charlie Longsdon in 2023, including a Class 2 Worcester handicap last June. Well held both subsequent starts and 7-month absence to overcome (undergone a second wind op in the interim) but it's worth noting that he scored on the back of a break/wind op on his reappearance last year.

Smart hurdler at his peak for Willie Mullins but hasn't show a great deal in a handful of appearances since switched to the O'Neill yard (also represented here by All The Glory and Magic Seven).

Successful twice last year and improved when taking a Grade 2 mares' handicap back from a break at Newbury (2½m, good to soft) in March. Early faller dropped back to 2m at Haydock last time but this is probably her optimum trip and she has to enter calculations.

:Successful on second of 3 starts in bumpers and excellent start over hurdles late last year, winning pair of Hereford maiden/novice events (at 19.7f). Has failed to complete both starts since switched to handicap company, though, and jockey bookings suggest that All The Glory is the stable No 1.

Winner of a mares' handicap at Galway (16.5f, good to soft) for Peter Fahey last summer. Generally below par since but latest third over this trip in first-time cheekpieces at Hexham represented movement in the direction and she's one to consider.

Dual novice hurdle winner for Gary Moore in 2021/22 and, following an unsuccessful short stint with Chris Gordon, he confirmed that he is now back on the right parth when making it 2-3 for this yard at Fontwell (19.5f good). 4 lb ris fair and he's not discounted, for all that this is tougher.

Back-to-back winner of Uttoxeter novice events last July and progressed again when making all in a 2m handicap here in September. Perhaps shouldn't be judged too harshly on his latest effort at Perth but will need a personal best upped in trip here if he's to regain the winning thread.

Dual juvenile hurdle winner who struck again in 2m Haydock handicap in the mud in December. Has generally performed with credit since but this trip appeared to stretch him at Hexham recently and ohers make more appeal.

Forecasts

Hecouldbetheone (7/2), A Law Of Her Own (4/1), Ike Sport (9/2), Liverpool Knight (8/1), All The Glory (8/1), Ballygeary (10/1), Pyramid Place (12/1), Everyonesgame (16/1), The Churchill Lad (18/1), Icare Allen (25/1), Magic Seven (28/1)

Verdict

The vote goes to A LAW OF HER OWN, who shaped well on her second start for this yard at Hexham recently and she should have races in her off this sort of mark. Everyonesgame is interesting back from a break/wind op given that he made a winning reappearance under similar circumstances last year. Emma Lavelle's charge is second choice ahead of All The Glory, Hecouldbetheone and Pyramid Place.
