Scott Mills Race Night 15th June Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Fair hurdler who has finished in the money on each of his 7 start in this sphere. Having won a point, he did falter close home starting out for new yard at Fontwell last month. Re-application of tongue tie may help in that regard up in trip.

£1,500 3-y-o, Youmzain gelding. Half-brother to modest 3¼m chase winner Dangan des Champs and a point winner. Looked badly in need of the experience in a bumper and well held sent hurdling 3 weeks ago. Blinkers quickly applied.

Fair bumper performer for Harry Whittington but limited impact completed start over hurdles.

Rather green in 2 bumpers but fair form in pair of maiden hurdles 20 months apart, shaping as if this longer trip would suit when third (16.5f) in November. Again looked a stayer over 20.6f since so this further step up in distance should suit.

Quite expensive as a store horse and showed plenty to work on when second in a Newcastle bumper in December 2022. Also found only one too good sent hurdling in October but hasn't stood much racing and having had a wind op (also tongue tied) he was disappointing last month. Up in trip.

Yorgunnabelucky gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler So Many Roads. Dam, winning pointer, half-sister to fairly useful 3m hurdle winner Teeton Babysham. Unplaced completed starts in points.

Winning pointer who made a sound start to Rules career when runner-up in a hunter at Tramore in April. Since moved yards and now goes hurdling at a realistic level.

Displayed more temperament than ability so far and a doubtful stayer over this trip given how hard he pulls.

Clear signs of ability in bumpers last year and some encouragement when fourth in a novice at Ludlow (21.2f) on hurdling debut. Disappointing twice since, though.
