Latest win at Catterick in April. Good second of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good, 4/1) 20 days ago. Clearly in good nick and, provided the ground doesn't deteriorate (best turf form on good/good to firm), he should be in the thick of things.
Winner at Newcastle in March. 7/1, bit below form fourth of 10 in handicap at Leicester (7f, good) 23 days ago. Not without each-way hope but shade more will be needed if he's to open his turf account at the fifth attempt.
12/1, eighth of 18 in handicap at York (7f, good) 9 days ago, nearest finish. Didn't get the breaks that day and, with traffic problems unlikely to be an issue in this smaller field back here, he will be a big player in first-time cheekpieces if taking his chance. Engaged 4.55 Nottingham Sunday.
9/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, good second of 9 in handicap at this C&D (good) 35 days ago, with Al Muqdad (third) and Helter Skelter (fourth) not far behind. Live each-way chance if able to reproduce that form. Yard also saddles King's Crown.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2022. 4/1, stepped up on his low-key reappearance when second of 7 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to soft) 32 days ago. Not certain to benefit from this step up in trip but will have a chance if his stamina does hold out.
Four-time C&D winner. Last of 8 in handicap (50/1) at this course (8f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Needs to bounce back in a major way.
40/1, last of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good) 20 days ago. Blinkers back on and he's likely to come up short once more.
25/1, career best when winning 13-runner handicap at this C&D (good) 20 days ago. Couldn't be absolutely sure he'll back that up but 2 lb nudge neither here nor there and will be a threat if again on-song.
Good 2 lengths third of 13 to Monhammer in handicap (17/2) at this C&D (good) 20 days ago. Meets that rival on 3 lb better terms this time and he has to enter calculations.
Latest win at Newcastle in April. 15/2, respectable third of 8 in handicap at this course (6f, good) 35 days ago. Back up in trip and while he's not a forlorn hope, others make more appeal for win purposes.

Bowman (2/1), Helter Skelter (10/3), Phoenix Fire (7/1), Al Muqdad (15/2), Monhammer (10/1), King's Crown (10/1), Pembrokeshire (10/1), Circles (12/1), Smalleytime (16/1), Bowood (40/1), Tommy G (40/1)
While MONHAMMER is admittedly not the easiest to predict, the fact that he won on his reappearance over C&D represented a real change given that his record when fresh has otherwise been poor. If he is in a similar mood, it's unlikely that a 2 lb nudge will be a barrier to further success. Helter Skelter will be a serious threat if going to post but, assuming he takes up his engagement at Nottingham on Sunday, Pembrokeshire and Phoenix Fire may emerge as the main dangers.
