Useful chaser at best but declined last season. Not disgraced off lower hurdles mark at Huntingdon last month but others make more appeal.
Consistent hurdler who won in tidy fashion from the front here a year ago. Current mark probably doesn't leave much wiggle room now going chasing but respected all the same.
Belatedly off the mark over hurdles at Punchestown 2 years ago for Gordon Elliott. Well held at Ffos Las 12 months later on yard debut but encouraging chase debut back from another lay-off when runner-up at Chepstow in November. Ran no sort of race there following month, however, and off since.
Has slipped in the weights and returned to form back from a break when close third at Kelso 3 weeks ago. Player off same mark.
Mixed record over hurdles for Nicky Henderson no real impact in a handful of appearances for new connections last season (often finds little). Dead-heated in Irish point but opposable on chase bow.
Point winner who defied a penalty to make it 2 from 2 over hurdles at Hereford in January. Shaped perfectly well switched straight to chasing after 4 months off when third of 5 on handicap bow at Market Rasen last week and should improve.
Showed promise in bumpers and on his hurdles debut when second at Wetherby in October. Has failed to build on that, though, only sixth of 9 in Wincanton novice 39 days ago. Goes chasing with a bit to prove.

The Gypsy Davey (2/1), Fearless (3/1), Nibras Gold (10/3), Bob Bob Ricard (6/1), Give Me A Moment (9/1), Silver Shade (14/1), Rathmacknee (20/1), Showbusiness (28/1)
THE GYPSY DAVEY might have lost his unbeaten record when third on his chase/handicap bow at Market Rasen last week, but it was still a promising start in this sphere, and this looks a good opportunity with most of his rivals arriving with something to prove. Fearless bounced back to form when a close third at Kelso 3 weeks ago and is the obvious threat.
