Fair winning hurdler in Ireland and left previous form for this yard well behind when landing a handicap chase in first-time cheekpieces at Huntingdon in February. Had plenty to spare when following up at Lingfield a month later but seems to have gone off the boil. This much easier, however.

Only second run for his current yard when getting off the mark over fences at Leicester (22.7f, heavy) in January. However, not in same form in 3-runner event there next time but would have run close to form if not for taking a late tumble at Bangor last month. In the mix.

Looked on the up when scoring at Exeter in November and after a couple of poor efforts in January, bounced back to form after a 3-month break when second of 14 in handicap hurdle at Chepstow (23.6f, good) last month. Considered now sent chasing.

Fair hurdles winner who has showed similar form in this sphere last term, going down narrowly in first-time headgear at Chepstow (23.6f, soft) a couple of months ago. Shouldn't be long in going one better over fences.

Took advantage of a much-reduced mark at Wincanton and followed up at Exeter in March. Has remained in form since, despite producing another error-strewn round back under less testing conditions when third at Stratford last month. Should give another good account.

Improved with cheekpieces added when runner-up in his second handicap chase in November. Not in the same form when 18 lengths fourth at Fakenham a month later and ran a shocker when tailed off at Catterick in January. Cheekpieces back on with a tongue tie added.

Bounced back to finally shed his maiden tag at Taunton last month but rather predictably failed badly to back up when pulled up at Fontwell (26f, good) 12 days ago. Easy enough to look elsewhere.

Provided his late tumble at Bangor last month hasn't left a mark, NO TACKLE is fancied to regain the winning thread stepping up to this sort of trip for the first time over fences. The main threat may emerge from Danton, who deserves credit for keeping the winner honest all the way to the line when runner-up at Chepstow recently and now heads over the larger obstacles. Puddlesinthepark can edge out Lightonthewing for third.
