Showed plenty when placed in a pair of bumpers and while he hasn't troubled the judge in 3 hurdles starts at around 19f, better can be expected now upped in trip for this handicap debut.

Fair performer on the level in France and over hurdles for current yard. Well held latest start in this sphere at Carlisle in March but went close in cheekpieces on the Flat 3 weeks ago and possibilities back hurdling with the headgear retained.
Fair form over hurdles for Amy Murphy in 2020/21 and won twice between the flags in 2022. Didn't get very far back from a lengthy absence on chase/yard debut last month and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.
Shaped like a stayer when fifth of 13 in novice at Warwick on her hurdling bow and, after failing to complete next time, took a step forward when fourth in a Plumpton maiden (20.5f, good to soft) in January. Interesting contender upped in trip for her handicap debut.
Failed to build on promise shown in maiden/novice company when beaten a long way on handicap debut at Huntingdon in February. However, back on track when second in a 5-runner C&D contest (heavy) last time and she's one to consider.
Didn't show a great deal in his qualifying runs and big step forward needed now upped in trip for this handicap debut.
Point winner but there haven't been many positives to take from his efforts under Rules thus far.
Modest maiden hurdler who went close at Market Rasen in November but failed to back that up at the same course the following month. Others preferred.
Essentially a poor maiden and while his latest effort over this C&D was one of his better ones, others make more appeal.
Hasn't shown much at all in his 5 runs over hurdles and looks up against it from 7 lb out of the weights here.

Forecasts
Dr Lockdown (11/4), Mattie Ross (16/5), Dasher (4/1), Overabottleofred (8/1), Diamand De Vindecy (9/1), Tis But A Scratch (10/1), Clatterbridge (16/1), James Baie (25/1), Beauvallon Bay (28/1), Sir Maximus (40/1)
It wouldn't be much of a surprise were DASHER to take a sizeable step forward now pitched into a handicap and faced with a stiffer test. He gets the nod ahead of Diamand de Vindecy and Overabottleofred, while Mattie Ross is also shortlisted.
