Dubawi filly who was strong in the betting but looked clueless when tenth of 13 in maiden at Kempton (8f, 3/1) on debut 5 months ago. Clearly thought capable of better and no surprise to see a much-improved display upped markedly in trip.
Ulysses filly who showed ability over a trip that should prove a bare minimum in time when third of 10 in maiden at Kempton (8f) on debut 6 months ago. Hiked up in trip and looks sure to progress for a yard firing on all cylinders at present.
Teofilo filly who ran to just a fair level on debut albeit in need of experience when sixth of 12 in maiden at this course (8f, good to firm) last month. May yet do better.
Too Darn Hot filly who looked badly in need of the experience but very much caught the eye under sympathetic handling when eighth of 14 in maiden at Newbury (10f, good to soft) on debut last month. She's sure to improve, possibly significantly.
Dubawi filly who was her stable's second string but offered quite a bit to build on when second of 6 in maiden at this course (10f, good) on debut just over 2 weeks ago. Will have no problem with this extra distance and looks the one to beat.
Sea The Stars filly who offered something to work on when eighth of 13 in minor event (13/2) at Kempton (8f) on debut 6 months ago, a wide trip meaning she wasn't seen to best advantage. Will be suited by middle distances and should improve.

Forecasts
Precious Jewel (9/4), Blessed Honour (11/4), Incensed (4/1), Sea La Venus (6/1), Lake Teo (8/1), Molten Sea (16/1)
A valuable novice chock-full of potential and it's PRECIOUS JEWEL who gets the nod to come out on top having bumped into a very exciting prosect at this track just over a fortnight ago. Andrew Balding couldn't be in much better form, so his Incensed can give the selection most to think about, ahead of the William Haggas-trained pair Molten Sea and Sea La Venus.
